Notes help you track important information related to each Retrieval Kit™ order. Here's what you need to know about how notes behave:
✏️ Types of Notes
Note Type | Visibility |

Initial Note During Order | Printed inside the Retrieval Kit™ instructions and visible to your employee. |
Notes Added After Order Creation | Only visible internally to you and your users. Not visible to employees. |
Device Rescue Team Notes | Visible in your Retrieval Kit™ overview. Device Rescue may use notes to provide updates or instructions. |
📤 Webhooks for Notes

If you have webhooks configured, every time a note is added, your system will automatically receive a webhook event.

This includes notes created by you, your users, or Device Rescue staff.
🗑️ Deleting Notes

You can delete notes — but only notes added by your users.

Notes created by Device Rescue or System-Generated Notes cannot be deleted.

Admin Role Required:

Only Admin users can delete notes.

Deletion can be done inside the UI or through the API.

User and Billing Roles are not allowed to delete notes.
