Creating a Retrieval Kit Order

Ordering a Retrieval Kit™ is simple and streamlined into a few key steps:

📦 Step 1: Select Retrieval Kit Type

Choose the type of Retrieval Kit™ based on the device being retrieved:

  • Laptop Retrieval Kit™ (up to 16” laptops)

  • Monitor Retrieval Kit™ (fits most 23–27” monitors)

  • Tablet Retrieval Kit™ (up to 12” tablets)

  • Cellphone Retrieval Kit™ (up to 7” smartphones)

Each kit is preconfigured to fit typical dimensions for that device type. Pricing and dimensions are shown on the selection screen.

👤 Step 2: Provide Team Member or Branch Information

Enter the contact information for who is returning the device:

  • First Name, Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Street Address, City, State, Postal Code, Country

Optional Shortcuts:

  • If the team member already exists in your platform (status = Active), you can search and select them to auto-fill their information.

  • Similarly, if sending to an Office Branch, you may search and select an existing branch record.

  • Important: Only Active team members will show in search to keep the results clean. Terminated team members are hidden.

🏢 Step 3: Provide Return-To Information

Specify where the device should be returned:

  • Enter a Return Contact Name, Email, Phone, and Address manually.

  • Or, if you have saved Delivery Addresses in Company Settings, you can select one to auto-fill the return details.

If subscribed to the IT Closet Add-On:

  • You may instead opt to have the device returned to Device Rescue's warehouse.

  • Devices sent to the IT Closet will undergo cleaning, condition reporting, and secure storage.

✅ Step 4: Review & Finalize the Order

  • Select a Shipping Speed (Standard or Expedited).

  • Optional Shipping Insurance can be added for extra protection.

  • Optional Instruction Note: Add a custom message that will be printed on the Retrieval Kit™ instructions included inside the box. (e.g., "Please include charger with laptop.")

Carefully review all details before submitting. Once submitted, your Retrieval Kit™ will be prepared and shipped to the designated address.
